Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher Shoots 10-under 61 at Irish Open

Titleist Brand Ambassador Ross Fisher used a Titleist Pro V1x golf ball and a bag full of Titleist equipment to make 10 birdies in 12 holes and shoot 10-under 61 Friday in the second round of the European Tour's 3 Irish Open.

Fisher is one of 93 players at the the Killarney Golf and Fishing Club trusting a Titleist golf ball, more than three times the nearest competitor with 29.

Fisher, No. 36 in the Official World Golf Ranking, recorded his 10 birdies in two spurts: He made consecutive birdies from Nos. 3-8, and four in a row from Nos. 11-14.

"It was pretty flawless golf," Fisher said, according to Reuters. "After a solid start I caught fire. ... This is the start of three really important weeks for me with the Ryder Cup coming up. And this gives me a lot of confidence, knowing I can make a lot of birdies."

Fisher, who is also gaming the prototype Titleist 910 driver, sits at 12-under 130 heading into the weekend in Ireland, and is currently the leader in the clubhouse by three shots with half the field still out on the course.
