Anyone else had any trouble with paint coming off the crown? Used mine for one round with head cover on at all times when I wasn't using it and pulled it off mid way through the round to see a chip in the paint after I pulled it out of the head cover, it hadn't hit anything or been knocked. Also just below the serial number there is more paint missing in the section where the sole meets the crown. Any insight into what may be going on here? I purchased from a stockist verified on the Titleist websit. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Kieran,  I'm sorry to hear about the paint on your club.  We have not heard of your situation and have contacted our Australian office to let them know that we recommended that you have an inspection set up with them.  You can set that up through a local shop, but if you would like to contact them as well, their email is:  SalesAUS@Acushnetgolf.com

    Thanks Cathi!

Already received an email response about a resolution and we're underway to getting it fixed.

As always great customer service and response times.

    Many thanks,

    Kieran Timms.

I had the same thing happen to my hybrid.  Hit it once and a there was a chip the next time i pulled the headcover off.

Interesting.  Guess that I am one of the lucky ones.  No issues with mine.

  6. Same issue,

used my 915 hybrid for two rounds and had multiple chips off the crown of the club.

  7. That's why I put "pop up protectors" on my driver, fairway wood, and hybrid.   Look for a product called Clear Shield.

That's funny. I have the exact same club, but the paint stayed on the crown. It must've had a malfunction in the process of making the club.
