Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet re-fit

    I am a golfer on a tight budget. I just picked up a Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom Mallet. The length is 33 inches. My ideal fitting is 33.5 - 34. Is it worth getting resized? Would resizing this putter cause balancing issues? It has the original grip and the grip is in mint condition. I hope to save the original grip. If it cannot be saved does anyone have any recommendations? The rest of the putter is in very good condition with few chips.

    You might be able to save the grip by using a good reputable repair shop. I bought a used scotty and added about an inch to 34.5-35. The grip was "saved" because it was a good superstrk. I like the counter balance feeling. I'm always on a tight budget and was able to do it for about 6 bucks. Go around and check out a few reputable repair shops, its always a mental confidence issue too.
