Last Wednesday, April 24, 2024, I recorded my first Ace ever on Hole #12, 158-yard Par 3 at Blue Hills Country Club, Kansas City, MO! I began playing golf with my dad I was 4 years old. I played sporadically the first 18 years of my life and took it up more seriously in college where I played on the BC Ravens team for 4 years. After College I joined my first CC, Crestview Country Club in Wichita, KS where I was the youngest member. We moved to Lake Saint Louis, MO where we joined Lake Forrest CC. We have been members at Blue Hills for about 15 years now and I am a member of the Wednesday afternoon/evening Men's "Bucs". When I made my Ace, I was playing with three other members who witnessed my ace. Almost a week later it still has not sunk in that I made a Hole-In-One! What a feeling of accomplishment after all of the years of coming close!
