Quick question, is the Premium CART bag designed to sit on a push trolley, or is it more like the US where it's designed to fit on a sit-on ride cart?

Reason is, I just got myself one of these bags & the umbrella holder is pretty much useless when sitting on a push trolley, in my case the Stewart R-series. The umbrella sits inside the bag at totally the wrong angle, and when you secure the top of the bag, the umbrella gets clamped along with it. Then, when it rains you have to remove the top of the bag from the trolley in order to take your umbrella out.

Anybody got any suggestions on how best to secure the bag & have easy access to the umbrella, before the bag goes on eBay & I go back to my Sun Mountain Tour Series.

    Thanks.

I've got the StaDry 15 cart bag (love it) plus also the Stewart R1- S Push trolley (which I like as its sturdy and robust compared to most other push trolleys)

The cart bag umbrella holder sleeve doesn't work on the trolley (& presumably this is the case with most trolleys?). My R1-S does however have the very handy "Umbrella Storage loops" (umbrella mounts onto the trolley).

If you have an older model of the R series not sure if you can retrospectively add?

Also have a StaDry 14 with Stewart R1-S. Other than the bottom bracket getting in the way of the tip of the brolly, I haven’t had an issue. The top strap just fits behind/under the top of the umbrella and off you go. I had been thinking of changing to the premium cart and also changing to an electric motocaddy but perhaps I’ll rethink.
  4. I have a stadry 15 cart bag with a motocaddy remote and the straps fit perfectly to the cart and allows the umbrella to be removed for use with no issues

I have the same bag (last year's version) and the umbrella sleeve is very tight (particularly if there's anything substantial in the pocket) and at a strange angle.

My solution was to get a thinner umbrella (not a Tour one) and to put it in the sleeve once the bag is attached to the trolley - I have a Powakaddy. It doesn't go all the way in but at least it's useable.

Same as mate, thinner titleist umbrella., Motocaddy here.. The umbrella slot was badly designed on these bags.
  7. I have this bag and the tour umbrella and with the motocaddy M5 GPS it fits fine and is relatively easy to get in and out - didn't fit great when I had a powakaddy so it must be trolley specific!

Agreed, it’s extremely poor design. Terrific bag but it’s a real pain fitting it on my Powakaddy, hard to fathom how they don’t design it with common trollies in mind.

I have the bag and no major issues with slot, I have a ct6 and I push the strap behind the umbrella handle and all good. The pocket on that side I don’t have much in

No issues with mine when fitted to a Powakaddy.

I have the 15 cart bag and I just use a spare slot for the umbrella due to this.
