Thomas, Ji, Langer, Bhullar and Leaney Combine for 5-Win Week for Titleist Players

The winning momentum continued this week for players trusting Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, as Titleist Brand Ambassadors and golf ball loyalists combined for five more titles around the world.

With these latest wins, Titleist golf ball players have now recorded 175 victories across the worldwide professional tours, more than six times the nearest competitor with 28.

To date this season, the game's finest players have relied on a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball 23,710 times, nearly seven times the nearest competitor with 3,470 and more than all competitors combined.

Leading the way this week, Titleist Brand Ambassador Justin Thomas (Pro V1x) captured the inaugural CJ Cup at Nine Bridges with a birdie on the second hole of a sudden death playoff. With the victory, Thomas sealed his fifth PGA Tour title in the 2017 calendar year, his first of the new 2017-18 season, and the seventh of his career.

Thomas’ fellow Titleist Brand Ambassador Cameron Smith (Pro V1x) finished one shot out of the playoff and Titleist golf ball loyalist Whee Kim (Pro V1x) finished fourth, another shot back, as seven of the top 10 finishers relied upon Titleist golf balls for their success.

Of the 78 players in the limited field at the inaugural CJ Cup, 62% trusted a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x golf ball for their success, more than four times the nearest competitor with 19% and more than all competitors combined.*

Titleist was also the top choice in iron sets (28%). Vokey Design Wedges topped the approach, sand and lob wedge (53%) category and Scotty Cameron led the putter category, with 42% of the field trusting a Scotty Cameron model.*
