i have a sm6 60 degree 12 bounce k grind, I would like to lower the bounce. I understand decreasing the loft lowers it but wondering if I could grind it and decrease the bounce, thanks

There are two options we would recommend exploring.

Adjusting the loft 1 strong (59) on your current wedge will decrease your effective bounce by 1 degree.

We just released a Low Bounce K grind through Vokey WedgeWorks. This model has the same features as the SM6 K grind including a wide sole and enhanced camber, but features a 6-degree bounce instead of 12.

Please see the below link for more information on the new Low Bounce K Grind.

Currently, we only offer custom grinding through the Vokey Tour Experience. More information about the Vokey Tour Experience can be found at the following link.

I just acquired a 58-11K SM5. I can hit it out of firm sand.

Decreasing the loft to 59 for the 60-12K will lower the bounce to 11* There is something deceiving about advertised bounces. A 62-07 actually has a lower bounce on the leading edge vs a 60-04.

I think the low bounce K grind may be what some of us are looking for on a lob wedge.

I have an SM5 58-11K grind and I find it works well.
