It's too bad that people receive items such as bag tags etc and then turn around and list on ebay for sale. Makes it bad for guys that actually would love to have these items. If this is going to be new normal why not list for sale direct from Titleist. At least that way you could some of these things. I am well aware of how these give always work so I don't need to hear about being active or not on web site. My problem is selling for profit and taking advantage of the good people.

I've been lucky enough to receive a few things including the illusive bag tag and would never dream of selling them.
At a recent TT SM7 launch I actually turned down a bag tag as I already have one. Knowing how many people don't have them yet, I felt it wasn't right to take another one and deprieve somebody else from having theirs.

Good luck to all those who are being super patient, hopefully your time comes soon :)

Team Titleist members are an honorable group of dedicated golfers. We appreciate the generousity of Titleist, but there are a few that will sell anything to make a quick buck. They will always crawl out from under the rocks and show their true colors and are the ones that get on this forum and beg for free items. They have to live with it, not caring that they are despicable people. One thing to remember when you give something away it is theirs to do with as they wish, but we as TT members would hope that the bottom line would not be for profit. This also happens all the time with the Scotty Cameron headcovers. As soon as they come out to the members they are on ebay. Life is not fair and money is root of all evil. TT is been fair with many of us who believe and participate and for those who are on here to make a couple of bucks, please go elsewhere, you are not welcome. Guess I will step down from my soapbox. With respect to the honest members of TT.

Agree TT family is as close knit a group as I have ever been a part of. I would NEVER sell my Lanyard or Bag Tag

I received a goody bag when I went to the SM7 experience at Woburn. It was something that I never expected to get, and I'm very privileged to of been given one. So I've no intention of selling any of the items as I will be having great fun putting them all to good use.

Hi Richard, I received the same goody bag minus the tag as I said earlier. Some great stuff as you said although I think I made a mistake choosing the white hat over the blue. Looks amazing but not sure how I'll keep it clean.
Can't wait to buy myself a Titleist bag to put the items in and start using them.
I don't recall a company that looks after people as well as Team Titleist do and feel privileged to have been treated this way.

Paul, I wash my hats in the top rack of my dishwasher. I spray some "Shout" on the bad spots and run them thru the full cycle and then when I take them out I put them on towels until the are completely dry. It may take a day or two. Have been doing this for years. I believe in recyling. Actually I prefer white hats, I can wear them with more of my FootJoy outfits. The blue hats are harder to clean.....

Chuck - do you also wash them using dishwasher detergent, or just the Shout?

Back to topic, over time and on separate occasions, I have received a bag tag, a towel and a t-shirt. Very happy with all the surprises. I still use them all, and no way would I sell.

This puts me in mind of when some great tickets go on sale and are sold out in 5 minutes only to see them pop up hours later at 4 times the price. I've encountered the same thing with the Cameron items. I want to buy these things and have them in my bag to enjoy them. It's a shame that this is commonplace.

I didn’t even know TT had bag tags or other giveaway items when I joined the website. The focus some folks have on these items is silly.

If you have them then enjoy them, if your here for free items and to sell them then you are in the wrong place.

  17. This kills me to see especially because im sure we all share the same joy when opening our mailbox to see something from Titleist and the gifts are always pleaseantly unexpected. I am lucky enough to have received a bag tag, hat, and balls (3/4 of a dozen currently reside in various woods and ponds across south eastern PA and south jersey) and proudly wear/display and, every once in a while, lose the items to an errant shot.

Speaking of TT logo balls. Think there is 3 dozen on ebay as we speak. Unreal prices. Really hard to believe.

Its just wrong to do that. The only TT items I have received are test balls and a lanyard a couple of years ago. I wear the lanyard everyday with my work ID proudly and enjoyed being part of the ball testing two years ago.

If you get something from TT display it proudly it means something to all of us with a full bag Titleist clubs and balls!

I saw someone selling a players collection ball marker on letgo or offerup and I called him out in a personal message. Pretty much saying what kind of low life sells a marker that was so graciously gifted from team titleist. Of course I was blocked with no comment back to me. I've been lucky enough to receive that same marker, one team titleist ball, and the bag tag. I would never sell them for profit!
  21. UK side this does seem to be quite rare as the only thing on EBAY at the moment is one ball with the TT logo on it.

I have been lucky enough to receive a bag tag and a ball marker from last years bag promotion but would never dream of selling either.

It’s crazy that people would sell their Team Titleist gear. I would post a video of me snapping my M2 in half for some stuff!

I have also been lucky enough to receive the bag tag, and ball maker. I can't imagine ever parting with either of them. Such pride having them in, and on my bag!
