Hi TT, I have played this wonderful game for almost 40 years now, beginning at the age of 8. As a young boy, I was told to use the same type of ball if I wanted to become more consistent. As a result, a Titleist ball has been a key component of my game. Over the years I have used the HVC, Tour Balata, Tour Prestige and Tour Professional to name a few. Ever since the launch of the ProV1 it or ProV1x has been my ball of choice. For a brief time I toyed with the AVX which is a great ball in its own right, just felt it was too soft for me. All along I knew that there were balls that were being gamed on Tour by a few players that us weekend warriors couldn’t access. You can imagine my excitement when I heard that a small quantity were to be made available to the public. I quickly reserved myself some but due to lockdown I have only hit them for the first time on the weekend. All I can say is WOW. The ProV1x Left Dash is the ball I’ve been waiting for. I sincerely hope that Titleist decide to make this ball more readily available to the masses. I’d be very keen to hear from anyone else who has had the chance to game the Left Dash. Regards, Mark

At the moment Left Dash can only be found on the My Titleist special order site. I don’t quite know why but Titleist made them available via a few of their main accounts.
Perhaps they had an excess as the pros weren’t asking for them because of cancelled tournaments. Through my local Drummond Golf I ordered 1 dozen to try and I’ve since managed to get another 2 dozen.
Hard to say if we will see them again with the new ProV1 and ProV1x coming out next month. There’s not a lot of noise out of Titleist about these special order balls, I believe there are others such as Left Dot ProV1, so I count myself fortunate to have been able to play them.
  4. Hi Mark,

which special order site are you referring to ?

I was told that there would be Left Dash would be available from mid Feb, as a special order from your PGA pro or other Titleist dealer

    Hi Patrick,
If that’s true, that’s great news!
The special order site I was referring to is My Titleist. I see Left Dash is available there but I haven’t used it yet. It is in USD and not sure if they post globally or not.

  6. Mark, I agree the Left Dash is a great ball... I feel like it goes straighter (due to less spin than the other ProV1 models) and doesn't spin too much on the greens.

I believe it will be more readily available this year around the globe since it has really grown in popularity...stay tuned!

    Cheers, Chris
  7. Just a quick update, my order of 3 doz balls came through about 4 weeks ago.
I have played 2 rounds so far, today and last Saturday with them. Initially the ball felt too hard of the driver and 3 wood club face but felt softer today. Had a good control with short irons into the greens and chipping at the pin.

Really happy with how the ball is performing and coming off the clubs. I am going to try and keep gaming this ball ️‍♂️

  8. Great post...this ball is amazing and long. I have played with some tour pros that are shorter off the tee and use this ball period...!
  9. Great ball. I just got 8 dozen with the buy 3 get one free promotion (had to place two separate orders of 4 dozen). I too have played a Titleist ball since the late 80's (Tour Balata versions, Professional and Prov1 and ProV1 X. I have been in the X exclusively since it came out and this ball is great.

Much easier to control in the wind. I'm a high spin player and use the TSi4 in 8 degree with a White Board 83 "X" 45" shaft tipped 1.5". This ball will not balloon in the wind. It also will stick where it lands. Very high trajectory but doesn't come screaming back at you on wedge shots.

A little less spin around the green vs. the normal ProV1 X but no by much. I can still spin bunker shots and hit flops with ease.
  10. Team Titleist members are being given the opportunity to have golf ball fittings with an expert from Titleist. I have both the AVX and ProV1x in my bag. After 30 minutes with Andrew, I am anxious to try this new ball which by definition appears to be the best of both worlds. I too purchased 4 dozen on the loyalty program. Just waiting for the courses to open in Ontario, Canada.
