Will a shaft that has a SureFit adapter for the 910 driver work in a TS3 head?

    I have been a fan of Titleist drivers for decades. I recently stumbled onto a deal on a TS3 that I couldn't pass up. The shaft is light for me (60g), would I ba able to use this head with the heavier shaft (76g) that I have on the 910 head?

    Any comments or recommendations are welcome.

    Yes, the Surefit adapter is the same on the 910 through TS models.

    With the weight difference in shafts, you may also want to verify swingweight stays the same as standard.

    Is the sure fit adapter the same on the TS driver and the TS fairways

    The 910 series all used the same hosel adapter. Since the 913's, fairways and hybrids have had separate adapters. Only driver shafts from a 910 can be used on later drivers.

    While the adapter itself is the same, somewhere I recall reading that the thread pitch of the screw changed at some point. If this is true (and I think I found it to be true when trying to change a shaft), then the screw would need to be transferred from the old head/shaft tip to the new head. It's not difficult.
