    With all of the other major golf brands releasing new irons I am wondering if Titleist has anything in the pipe line as I would love to lol at upgrading my current 718 AP1’s

    Titleist doesn't do annual upgrades. The T-series irons started coming out in 2019, so expect new ones to start coming out this summer/fall. The T-100s and the T-400 came out later, so not all versions may be in the introduction cycle. The T-300 is the closest to your 718 AP1's.

    I actually have played the 718 AP1s since they came out and have T100s Irons on there way to me right now. I’m not sure what your reason would be to upgrade, but mine was due to outgrowing the “game-improvement” irons. I must admit it is bittersweet as the 718 AP1s have been crucial in my game going from a 15 handicap to a 7, but nonetheless, after my pga pro recommended upgrading to more workable clubs I hit every set of new irons in the titleist line up and I would recommend doing the same to anyone. From this experience, I noticed a lot more accuracy and workability. You will see decreased distance because the 718 AP1s were particularly strong, but the new technology was incredible.

    All this to say, I highly recommend hitting all of the irons in the lineup and seeing your numbers. I would be surprised if you don’t see added benefit.

    Wow, I can't believe a PGA pro would put you in the T100S after the AP1 as a 7 handicap. The T100 and T100S are a serious players iron. I'm a great ballstriker (and +3 handicap) and i couldn't hit them. I went back to the AP2's after struggling with them for a couple months. I've heard the same complaints about them from several others. I hope you have better luck though.

    The T series represented the 2020 release and were offered around August 2019. I think my T300s were delivered in September 2019. No new release of irons would be "due" based on past history until 2022. If this follows their traditions, we could possibly see new irons released on tour in July 2021. Fittings could possibly follow around August 2021 for the public. It can be confusing at times. It is drivers, fairways, hybrids then irons the following year. Each line is on a two year rotation. Most other brands do a one year or less rotation.
