Hey everyone I was just curious what everyone keeps in their bag for an average round? (By average round I mean normal weather/not raining or cold) I follow a lot of WITB pages on social media but they tend to only show clubs and bags. I was wondering what people like to use for ball markers, divot tools, tees, towels, or anything else like that when they play. Could be food or the amount of balls you carry or just anything you think is unique to your round! Hope everyone is safe and healthy!

  2. Other than clubs, I typically have:
    1. At least a dozen golf balls (proV1) -- just in case, this may be lower if walking.
    2. Standard white golf towel with my clubs logo.
    3. Western birch golf tees.
    4. I use an old poker chip for a ball marker.
    5. Range finder.
    6. At least 2 extra gloves.
    7. Usually have umbrella.
    8. Short sleeve rain jacket.
    9. Water bottle.
    10. Chap stick.

That’s solid Seth! Was thinking of snagging some Western Birch Tee’s myself, I love the coloring on the “The Sixteenth Tee” collection being a big fan of The Masters.
  4. Western birch tees are very solid, I am currently using the "Sixteenth Tee" coloring and very classic. Usually only use 2 tees a round, very stable and hard to break (at least for me).

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered some of the western birch tees !!

Around 10 golf balls (Pro V1x), a Pitchfix divot tool, a club cleaning brush, a Titleist towel, PTS tees, various ballmarkers, an extra glove, a few pencils, a golf rulebook, a water bottle, sunscreen, a marker pen. That's all I can think of.
  7. Not a lot of "stuff" in my Players 4 StaDry bag, other than clubs and balls.

The little valuables pocket has a handful of random ball markers, mostly the cheap plastic kind that are small and can be tapped down very flat to the green. And a couple of plastic ball mark repair tools. Plus my keys go in there during the round.

The big clothing pocket usually has a sandwich (at least for the first few holes until I get hungry and eat it!) but nothing else unless the weather requires me to carry a rain jacket or something.

The smaller side pocket has a spare rangefinder battery, some pencils and scorecards and it's where I stash my golf glove if I'm not wearing it.

And the ball pocket has a couple sleeves of ProV1x plus I store the little pocket towel I use during the round for cleaning the ball. Oh yeah, almost forgot. I very small nylon brush that I can use if dirt gets in my grooves that won't wipe out with the regular towel that hangs on the bag.

Finally, the water bottle pocket is where I keep a bunch of those indestructable plastic 2-3/4" tees.

So that's everything except my 13 or 14 clubs and the laser rangefinder that hangs with the towel on the bag's towel hook. I wish the Players 4 had a separate rangefinder pocket but I'm not willing to deal with a bulkier bag just to get that one extra pocket.

Im usually walking so i like to keep it minimal. I got a towel with one end wet, rangefinder, various tees, 5 or 6 balls including the one I'm playing and I have a pouch to keep my phone in that also holds a couple coins that i use as ball marks. Not very interesting for you guys but just the basics!

Haha. A 6 pack on Amazon is less than 2 from the grocery store and lasts a year. I don't do a lot of good deeds, but when a buddy runs out of juice on the course they're always super excited when I hand them a spare on the spot.
  13. Yeah, I bought a couple sleeves of 6 of those lithium batteries that most rangefinders use. If someone's laser goes dead I just peel one out of the sleeve and hand it to them. I'm like the Battery Santa or something.

I think I'm down to my last couple now so pretty soon I'll invest another twenty-some bucks and be set for a couple more years. I have an addiction to buying things in bulk. A dozen lithiums for the laser, a giant bag of plastic tees (like 500 for $8), a box of logo overrun golf pencils with erasers (250 pencils for $6-$7), bulk bags of plastic divot tools and ball markers.

For the cost of a dozen ProV1x you can stock up on a decade worth of every accessory except clubs, balls, gloves and sunscreen ;-)

P.S. About the pencils, having ones with erasers when everyone else uses the freebies from the pro shop without erases is kind of a competitive advantage. Like the guy in the fastest golf cart never getting a bad lie. I kid, I kid!

I know the amazon 6 pack well, as that is what I purchase. I just carry one in my range finder case and refill as necessary. Nothing worse than your range finder going dead while playing.

Recently added this little all-in-one tool to the bag. Had an issue the other day where one side of the plastic leg bracket popped loose and needed pliers to get it back on. Now I can make a quick fix on the course. Also has knife blade, saw blade, screwdriver and wire cutters so probably most anything that might need a quick fix on the course.
