I had always hoped if i ever was lucky enough to hit a hole in 1 that I would have people that meant the world to me would be there. Of course, like most always feared that it would happen playing alone. Thankfully the former happened!!! We were playing Crosswinds in Plymouth, MA with a group of 12 having a friendly stableford match. My foursome included my Brother (Doug Wenson), Uncle (Tom Connolly), and my best mate (Callum Valleli). We started the 18 on the Jones course and finished with Ouimet. It was on Ouimet #2 that the unthinkable happened. Tees were playing back with a right center pin. I hit the shot of the day, baby draw that started just right of the green, where the ball hit the right side of the green and rolled down the slope and disappeared. I can still hear my uncle yelling for it to "get in the hole". I will never not play a Titleist Prov1 and love that the ball used was #1 with the American flag logo.
