  1. It was like any other round to start. After work trying to get 9 holes in before dark… started off holes 1 and 2 on 400 and 380 yard par 4s where I hit good drives followed by a number between 110 and 100 into the green. A perfect knockdown 54 degree to get on the green and have a birdie putt. However it didn’t go that way. Both times I caught the ball a few groves low and went over the green resulting in having to get up and down and sadly on the 1 not and getting bogey. Driving up to the par 3 third hole, 115 yards I had one thought in mind and it was not to hit it long. I’ve played this course a bunch where I get it on the green and able to generate lots of spin so I was excited to hit the shot! Back swing, down swing, follow through, watch my greatest shot I’ve ever hit. The ball is soaring directly at the pin and I know there’s lots of spin on it. I’m just hoping it stays on the green. I land 5 feet past the pin and watch the power of the prov1 spin back and roll into the hole. It was magical! Couldn’t believe my eyes and the hands were shaking! I drive up to the hole and as happy as could be call everyone that could ever listen and celebrate with my wife on the course! I also proceeded to shoot my best 9 holes score that day as well. I think hole 3 had a lot to do with that!
