My grandfather taught me to play golf when I was a little kid, but only recently did I start to love golf (I’m 25 now). We were playing at Mirror Lake’s Lake course on 6/5/2026. From the front Men’s tees it was 127 playing like 123 with slope. With a bunker short of the green and the pin placed a few paces font left of center, I hit a shot over the bunker which landed and rolled like a putt and disappeared into the tree coverage shadow. We couldn’t tell if it went in because of the shadow, but sure enough, I walk up and grab it out of the hole. It was a special day to have my grandfather see it, and I’m sure it is a memory that we will both cherish.
