My Second Hole in One

I was lucky enough to experience a second hole in one with guys I play with quite often. Thanks to Harry Smith, Mike McGuire, and Tim McGuire for witnessing and enjoying this at our home club.

Hannastown Golf Club, Greensburg PA, Hole 15, Blue Tees, 175 yards, Titleist Pro V1 Left Dash, Titleist T300 7 Iron.

Shot was dead at the pin on the back tier, ball mark was 10 feet short of the hole, and to my surprise, ended up in the bottom of the cup.

Duck Lake #5

Duck Lake Country Club in Albion, Michigan, one of favorite courses. Hole number 5, round not off to a great start, 109 to a front pin, slight up hill. Choked up on an easy pitching wedge. Solid contact, landed just long and right of the hole by about 12 feet, started rolling back to towards the hole. I just thought I hit a good shot and would have short birdie putt, so I bent down to pick up my tee before it stopped. As I’m going for the tee, my uncle-in-law said “that might go in”. And it did, I never saw it, but he did. He went nuts. I was in shock, my first hole-in-one. I was dizzy for the next two holes.

I was playing high. Hope golf course in Ashburn Ontario. I was on whole number 17. I peed off watch the ball bounce hit a I watched it roll down onto the green and into the hole one of the most exciting golf moments ever!!

I was playing and a family ram business tournament and we get to the ninth box and we were joking about hitting a hole-in-one and I stepped up with my nine iron and hit it and it went right at the pin and hit the pin and dropped into the hole. I was so happy the golf course is fairly small and everyone on the course could pretty much hear cheering they started cheering too.

This was a crazy day! I didn’t see it go in but my friends were pushing and shoving me and saying it went in a hole and I’m looking like what no but when we walked up to the Green, it was in the hole and I lost my damn mind! It’s my fourth holding one, but this one was special because my best friend was there! Didn’t like buying drinks at the bar, but it was fun and we had lots of laughs! I couldn’t score anything after the whole in one!!

I have been playing golf for over 20 years and have come close so many times, before this one I had a cliffhanger that didn’t drop for a hole in one. What made this even more special was the fact that I was with my older brother in a late afternoon, after work round. I am grateful to Titlest for making the number golf ball in golf and to god for the perfect weather to play today and blessing me with this much wanted achievement.

I just turned 70, playing the first time from the senior tees. It was 160 yards uphill, I hit a 7 iron and that pro v 1 never left the flag. My first hole in one. The next day I hit the same club on the same hole, same shot and was 3 feet right behind the hole. I made the putt and finally made a 3 on the hole, but I had to add up the two scores I made on that hole! Thank you Titleist.

My first hole in one

After a terrible round on Sunday I was apprehensive about playing our Wednesday 9 hole stableford which I regularly play in.

I decided to play, not having the greatest start on the 1st hole. I was worried it would be another difficult round.

But stepping up on the 2nd tee box watching the other lads taking their shots it was then my turn, choosing to use my pitching wedge for the short par 3, 128 yards to the flag which was around the centre of the green which slopes sharply from right to left, with a tree on the right side of the green and high banking making most shots rush down the green and off the other side on the left.

I struck my pitching wedge well and landed it 2 yards short of the pin, slowly seeing it trickle toward the hole not quite expecting the ball to actually drop. It arched round right to left and suddenly dropped down to erupting cheers from the four ball I was with.

The standard photo on the green collecting the ball from the hole short after with my heart rate way over 140 from the excitement.

My next tee shot then smashed further than ever before too with the excitement.

I went on to shot my 2nd best round with no blowouts and my most consistent round to date.

Coming joint first in the comp and 2nd after count back.

I got a hole in one today at the Naval Academy gokf course at annapolis md.during a misga tournament It was the 17th hole 120 yards slam dunk pin rattling no bounce hole in one. The golf ball was a titleist pro v 1.

On July 27, 2026, I checked off a lifelong golfing dream by making my first-ever hole-in-one while playing in our SAPS League at Heron Lakes Golf Club on the Greenback Course.

The ace came on the 14th hole, a 167-yard par 3. I pulled my BombTech 8-iron and teed up a Titleist TruFeel, hoping to put a good swing on it. The shot came off exactly the way I wanted—high, straight, and tracking right at the flag. Everyone in our group watched as it landed on the green, took a couple of bounces, rolled toward the cup, and then disappeared.

For a few seconds we couldn't believe what we'd just seen. Walking up to the green, the excitement kept building until we looked into the hole and there it was. My first hole-in-one.

It's a moment I'll never forget, and I'm especially happy that it happened while playing with friends in our SAPS League. Knowing it was made with a Titleist TruFeel golf ball and my BombTech 8-iron makes the memory even more special. Both the ball and club performed perfectly when it mattered most.

This is a golfing memory I'll treasure for the rest of my life.

Our foursome keeps track of our better ball scores. This is the third hole-in-one our group has had this year - April, June and now July. All with Titleist golf balls. The youngest person in our group is 13 years old (hole in one in June) and the oldest is 86. Golf is a great way to connect the generations.

I've played a lot of golf with my buddy Louie Munley, but I'll never forget what happened today July 29th, 2026 on No. 6 at Hollywood Beach Golf Course in Hollywood Beach, Florida. As we walked onto the tee, Louie looked at me and said, "If there's ever a hole where I'm gonna make a hole-in-one, it's this one." I laughed and told him, "Alright, let's see it." He pulled out a Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash No. 3 (for Allen Iverson), set it on the grass with no tee, grabbed his Titleist Vokey 50° Gap Wedge, and absolutely flushed it. I was standing right behind him, and from the second it left the clubface, it never left the flag. One hop... a little roll... Then it disappeared. Hole-in-one! 132 yards! All four of us went absolutely crazy. The wildest part wasn't even the ace—it was that he called it before he hit the shot and then actually did it. Watching that Titleist Pro V1x Left Dash disappear into the cup is something I'll never forget. Golf is an amazing game.

Granite Links - Hole in One

As we approached the par3 168yd 6th hole at Granite Links Milton course, I was 1 stroke behind my playing partner. As I approached the box he stated, closest to the pin for $20…which I reluctantly agreed to as he is deadly on par3’s! I hit a strong 7 iron mid green which sloped down hill. Ball landed softly and spun back right to left down the slope and into the hole! The easiest $20 I ever made! Love the Titelist ProV…would not use any other ball!!!

I had my fourth ever hole in one yesterday, at St Pierre Park golf club in Guernsey.

I hit an 8-iron into the 131-yard uphill 5th hole. Once again, I didn’t see it go in but as we crested the incline and didn’t see the ball, I was feeling positive.

I got to the hole, looked down….. and there it was. Needless to say, I was a happy chap yesterday ️
