Hole in One - Alessandro Giampaolo

Hello, my name is Alessandro Giampaolo. I work at a golf course in Las Vegas and after work I went to go play a sunset round. I made a hole in 1 on hole #8. It was 155 yards. This hole in one is my second . The craziest of all, I was playing alone. I did have my phone recording as I walked to the hole hoping the ball didn’t go in because I had no witnesses but when I got to the green, I didn’t see a ball. When I looked in the hole, my titleist Pro V1 number 22 was in the cup.

My first ace

On April 23, 2026,I was playing hole #17 at Forest Hills Golf Course in Cornelius, Oregon. The flag was set up 107 yards from the tee. I teed up my usual Titleist Pro V1x ball and hit it with my #7 cally epic star hyper rescue club. The ball flew straight at the hole, landed about 2 yards short of the hole and quickly disappeared into the hole!!! That was so exciting! #17 is an elevated tee and everyone in my foursome roared when they watched it disappear in the hole.

CHECK THE HOLE FIRST IF YOUR GUT SAYS YES!

After 44 years of playing golf I finally got my first hole in one!! I was playing with 2 other guys in my golf league at Twin Lakes Golf in Clifton, VA. We were playing the Oaks Course and Hole #12 was playing about 120 yards into a strong wind.

My playing partners went first and both were short and left with one in the bunker. I went last and hit my Titleist T-200 9 Iron on a good line but none of us saw it land due to the blinding sun that day.

I drove the cart and dropped off my buddy Chris. I proceeded to be the first to get to the large green. and saw no golf balls. I thought OK its either in the hole or somehow it rolled off the back. My GUT told me to check the hole first as I knew I hit it well and BINGO there it was!!

My takeaway.....TRUST YOUR GUT!! :-)

I made my 7th career ace on April 24th playing the 2nd hole at The Links at Heartland Crossing from 148 yards with my PW. This is the 2nd ace on this hole and make my 3rd consecutive year making an ace

29th Birthday Round Hole in One

During my 29th Birthday Round this past weekend, with 3 of my friends I carded my first ace. On my hour and a half drive to the course; I was doing a lot of reflecting how this was a monumental birthday and closing out the 20's. The thought came across my mind of how crazy would a hole in one be (I quickly said to myself get real - break 90 today). Sure enough, we get to the famous Island Green 8th hole at the Ledges in York, Maine. The hole was playing 167 Yards with high winds left to right. I struck a pure 7 iron and played 20 yards outside the pin. The wind pushed it to the center of the green. The second it came off the club, I knew it was a good swing. With the significant elevation change, we couldn't see it go in but heard it hit the green. My friend threw a dart and walked past the cup and was the first to see my ball in the bottom of the cup - sitting perfectly in there was my Titleist 3. Our group went crazy and the club house drinks weren't cheap, but the best bar tab I'll ever have.

My first ever hole in one what a story

18th hole on the match of course at Pga Natl in Palm Beach Gardens. Saturday, April 25. We played the back anchor tease. It was about 190 yards into the wind and the pin was down in that gully in the middle of the green. I took out my three iron and had an absolute dart and we saw it disappear over the ridge so nobody saw it go in the hole. When we got to the Greene, it wasn’t there and I was freaking out that maybe it rolled off the back or side, but it was nowhere after a few minutes. I finally looked in the hole and saw it and went absolutely bonkers. I was so excited. I picked the ball up and threw it in the air and it landed in a pond nearby. I had to go fish it out. I have it on video, but I can’t upload it.

The best part is, we do an annual Ryder Cup format tournament at Pga Natl to beat people and this was on the final one of the matches to win. It was amazing. For it to happen at a tournament with all of my closest friends, and Golf competitors was a truly special moment that I will never forget.!!

Kapalua plantation course

I was golfing in Hawaii on a family trip and while there we played a round at kapalua on the plantation course. It was hole 11, about 25 mph cross winds right to left, and the pin was 168 downhill pinned in the back left corner of the green behind a green side bunker. I hit my 8 iron to the center of the green and the wind pushed it left and did the rest. Sunk my very first hole in one!

“Nice Par!” – Best Titleist representative ever!

It was 2024, and my brother and I were battling in a club pair tournament at our home course — Hills Golf & Sports Club, just outside Gothenburg, Sweden. The format was simple: both tee off, pick the best drive, and play alternate shots from there. We came off the front nine at a sizzling -7. Confidence was high. Then we reached hole 10. A beautiful 135-meter downhill par 3, surrounded by water that punishes anything less than perfect. The green is undulating and unforgiving. As we stood on the tee, a Titleist representative was there demoing the latest GT drivers and balls. He mentioned a nice incentive: anyone who made a hole-in-one with a Titleist ball would walk away with a brand new Titleist driver. He went around asking what balls everyone was playing. Nearly the entire group was on Titleist. Me? I was loyal to my balls of another brand, proudly branded with my company logo. “Yeah, those are solid,” the rep said with a smile, “but with the ball flight you just described, you should really try the -ProV1.” He handed me a sleeve of three balls. “Thanks,” I replied, “but I think I’ll stick with my ordinary balls today.” My turn to tee off. I topped it badly — straight into the rough on the left. My brother stepped up, said “Don’t worry bro, I’ve got this”… and promptly shanked it right into the pine trees way right of the water surrounding the green. We were in serious trouble. Time for a provisional. I glanced over at the Titleist guy. He just gave me a knowing nod. I sighed, pulled out one of those -ProV1 balls, and grabbed my 8-iron. The swing felt pure from the start. The ball launched with a beautiful, piercing flight — exactly the trajectory I’d been chasing. It landed softly on the right side of the green, about 5 meters short and right of the pin. Then it started rolling. Slowly. Deliberately. It caught the subtle slope, turned a touch left, then eased back right… and disappeared straight into the cup. Hole-in-one. I completely lost it. My brother went wild. Our playing partners erupted. The Titleist rep just grinned and said: “Nice par! No new driver for you… So, what ball are you playing the rest of the back nine?” I switched to the -ProV1 for the rest of the round. We went on to win the tournament. After that day, I gave away my remaining eight dozen logo balls and stocked up on -ProV1 balls. Sometimes the golf gods (and a friendly rep on the tee) know better than you do. Best ball switch I never planned to make.

134 yds into wind. Pulled a 9 iron with a prov1. Hit a high shot that made a huge cracking sound as it jarred the cup. It didn't register for a few minutes but I've been unable to stop smiling for about 5 hours now

Hole-in-1 within FIRST YEAR

I am still in shock as I write down what happened on my first hole-in-1. I started taking lessons and got fitted for clubs. Before June 2025, I had never played a full 18 holes of golf, and I have just hit a hole-in-1. It was a 7 iron, uphill, 158-yard shot. I bounced my shot off the hill and onto the back shelf where the Pin was located and trickled in. Such a great shot and was lucky enough to have my two great friends with me on this round of golf. Now the golf bug has really got me! LOL
