Scotty's are beautiful and expensive - I always put the head cover on after every hole. I want to have my Fastback in great condition for years to come

Since I am a dew sweeper and live in the greenside bunkers, my headcover serves as a mat for my wedge handle to prevent the grip from getting wet while I putt. But when the hole (and money) is conceded to my "friend", cover goes back on the putter when walking off the green.

Always use a cover, I have an SC Phantom X5 covered with Folds of Honor head cover.

Use your covers!!! Nothing bothers me more than to see a high-end putter abused in a golf bag.

I'm with most of the people on this thread. My putter cover stays on whether I am walking or riding. I don't want my Scotty Cameron to have a lot of dings. I have lost, at one point, a putter cover but for me personally it was a small price to pay for not having a dinged up putter.

Scotty cover & covers for my woods get put on when I walk back to my cart each time. They keep them looking great without any dings.

OK, I confess....I lost the putter cover almost immediately (4 years ago?) and have not made any attempt to get a new one.
But, it is a counterbalanced longer putter (futura 7?) and is in the with the driver and hybrid which have covers.
So, no damage.

Any cool navy blue cover options out there? Maybe I will try again to cover it?!?!?

Always have my Cover on when not in play. I am super OCD about my equipment and have too much $ invested not to take care of it. My playing partner is the complete opposite and it makes me quiver...haha. So Yea. Cover on the Scottie. Hell I kept my cover on my odessy when I had it as well.

My cover is on all the time unless I am using it. There is nothing worse(well maybe there is) than getting a ding on your Scotty.
I strongly believe that people abuse and don't respect their Scotties should be fined or not allowed to use them.
I lent my best friend an old Scotty years ago thinking it would improve his game. He still can't putt and when or if I get the putter back it will have to be refinished.

I always keep my head cover on my putter. When I putt I place the cover in my right back pocket. My glove is placed in my back left pocket. I have never lost either of them.

I always put the cover on my Scotty Putter. I want to protect my investment and keep it looking good. I have over 20 Scotties and covers for each one and extras.

I try to use stylish non branded head covers...I'm not a big fan of advertising to whomever WITB.

I always put my covers back on (putter & woods). Then only thing I don't do is use my original Scotty covers. I have several non-descript putter covers that I use during rounds and keep my original Scotty covers stored at home.

I always put my cover back on my Phantom. Definitely don’t want dings on the Scotty. It’s part of my routine during a round. I always put the covers on my driver and woods as well.

If you are worried about losing the putter cover, I would be even more worried about dinging/clanging.

I always replace my putter cover after every hole. At this point it is habit, but it is also to keep the putter in good shape. Anyone who doesn't is crazy in my opinion.

I replace my putter cover as soon as I leave the green. Cost way to much for dings to the face. I do the same with my driver, 3 and two hybrids. Replace after I hit, clean of course first then replace.

My putter headcover always goes back on the putter. Same with the fairway woods and the driver headcover.
If I'm very lazy I remove the Driver headcover for the entire round if I'm on a buggy.

Guilty as charged, my headcover stays in the back of the golf cart. Now that I ride in cart all the time, my putter fits nicely in the putter well on both of my bags: Cart 14 and Tour Midsize. Never really give it any thought. When I use to walk and carry bag or push cart I always kept cover on putter due to clanging.

The only club in my bag that I leave the head cover off during the round is my Tsi2 Driver. I don't have any clubs that would hit the face of it. I have iron covers that stay on during a round as I don't want dings & dents in my T200 irons face & grooves. My Scotty definitely has it cover on all the time unless I am putting. Make sense to me & it doesn't slow anything down.

I take the cover off prior to my shot with my irons & replace after I hit the shot. Then place club back in bag. I do place my Scotty cover in the putter well then walk to the green to putt, but I place it back on before putting club back in bag..
