I have an older (SM5 ?) Vokey 54 degree that is in almost new condition. The problem is the shaft is bent. Does anyone know if the standard Dynamic Gold shaft installed in these wedges is taper or parallel tip? It’s been a while but I used to do quite a bit of my own club repair. Before I pull the shaft does anyone happen to know? Thanks in advance!

Titleist Irons and wedges should all be .355 taper tipped.

Titleist only uses tapered tip shafts.

It should be DG S200, taper tip. In my limited experience, you should order the shortest shaft (37.00") for the 9 iron and wedges with Titleist irons. Golf Works has DG S200 taper tip (0.355") shafts.

Hey Guy, where are you located? I have an full set of original Vokey SM5 wedge shafts that are brand new, even the original grips are in new condition. I had them pulled and put in KBS shafts to match my AP2's. I'd be happy to send you the one for a 54 if you cover the shipping. Let me know what Zip Code your in and I'll check the cost.
  7. I think it is parallel tip. I reshafted my SM4 and it was parallel so I would imagine a SM5 would be too.

    Hope this helps.

Michael O, I’m in Central PA, near State College 16669. Thanks for the offer! I have a shaft but it’s parallel tip. I’d love to replace with your original! Let me know!
  11. I know this is a shot in the dark but do you still have that shaft? My steel shaft 54 degree is really bent but the head looks like new. Tried to straighten the shaft but it will not budge. Definitely needs to be replaced. Thank You
