The 5th hole was zapped at 154 and I hit a nice draw that we saw land on the green and then track towards the hole but out of sight behind a bunker. Then after an excited but not too excited walk down to the hole, we found the ball nestled in the cup! Hole 13, 152 yards, a smooth pitching wedge to a brand new, fresh out of the box, Titleist ProV1. Baby draw against the wind, landed 15 feet short of the flag. One bounce and trickled into the hole. The people in my group knew it immediately but I didn’t believe them and I thought it ran off the back of the green. Drove up to the green and attempted to grab my wedge but got yelled out to “GO GET YOUR BALL OUT OF THE HOLE”. It fits in my standard Club Glove (junior?) bag. Most travel horror stories involve legs on stand bags and long club damages. For a soft bag include the accessory arm and/or remove metal wood heads. Until I suffer damage, I’ll stay with the soft bag as the hard cases tend to be bulky after leaving the airport. I choose the Monterrey/Black/Black which differs a little from the product page but not enough to disappoint me.

Forum Post: RE: 710CB vs. ?

As you are in Michigan, if you go to the fitting tab and put in your zip code, there usually Titleist Fittings at random golf courses within the search area you set (50, 100 miles, etc.). When last I looked, the flag was red and those choices came up first. It requires a $100 registration fee that will be fully applied to a purchase that day. These Titleist sponsored fitters are “no judgement “ fitters. You bring your current bag, you hit some with your current clubs while on a Trackman. Based on that observation and your expectations, the fitter will explain a starting point. Throughout the one hour session, you should make sure why choices are being recommended. I doubt you will be steered away from CB or MB without first trying them. Other than gaining spin from groves, CB and MB forged designs haven’t evolved much over time. Hence why Titleist is still marketing a design released 6 years ago. They won’t slap a new label on an old product if they can’t make a substantial improvement with a next release. The new and improved CB with tech improvements would be the T100 irons. At $200 a club, getting an expert fitting for your best results for free is one of the best bargains available. These are best options short of paying for a visit to Manchester Lane, TPI, or many of the Premier fitting sites.

Forum Post: RE: Womens Tournament at Streamsong

Hi All! The fee is to primarily attract serious golfers. The fee is applied to any club fit that day and ordered at that time. Essentially a free fitting for a purchase. You can get fit for metal woods, irons, or wedges in one session. The fitters have a large selection of shafts and all available heads. …Important for LH golfers as large US retailers may only have RH options in stock. Demos tend to be a waste of time for vendors. Too many tire kickers and few sales. As well as a random number of interested users at any one time.

Forum Post: Hole 3. 174 yards

I hit my 6 Iron the ball took 2 bounces and rolled into hole. www.titleist.com/.../y707belzd8dw8o7uydzq www.titleist.com/.../e6jaggyitpygmc6itncy www.titleist.com/.../wfs6u0wiyix9hexwm44n www.titleist.com/.../bx71kmhcmgvshradxpcm www.titleist.com/.../o4y1lbhsbgruvh0i1a4m

Forum Post: RE: Womens Tournament at Streamsong

Hi All! I used to use the Club Glove Collegiate bag and travel with Players 4 carry bags but TSA inspectors would shift the bag sideways and expose a leg to the soft part. After two different bags with bent aluminum legs, I now fly with an SKB hard case. The Cart 14 has no exposed legs so as long as you wrap towels around your shafts, you should be good in a soft case. Be aware, some airlines will not cover damage to clubs in soft cases, check your airline details. Good luck and safe travels.

Forum Post: Fist hole in one

I had a hole in one on hole number 4 at Kellogg golf course in Peoria, Il on Jluy 8th, 2026!
