To Scotty: Any chance on a NAPA release any time soon? Love the feel and look of them.

    Hello!

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask questions!

Question for Scotty...any plans on opening a Gallery store on the east coast? Preferably New York? Manhatten seems like a perfect location for a new Scotty Gallery store!

Scotty...Will the consumer market see more putters with inserts in the future?
or Will we see putters with solid construction and softer metals?

    Cheers,

  5. Hey Abby L.,

I recently just went through my first Titleist club fitting and landed on the AP2s as my preferred iron choice, but was wondering what the thought process at Titleist is for deciding how many models of irons to release? Are you trying to provide an iron for every level of golfer or is it more about offering the best club available at the time?

    Hello Abby,

First I hope you have a great time. Really looking forward to the Q & As with the greatest team ever assembled.

    1) To Scotty, IMO I believe the Napa is the best line every produced. What are your thoughts on bringing it back? If it can't, is there a particular reason why it can't be brought back. just curious.

    2) To Scotty, the Hula girl cover is my all time favorite but I'm curious, why the hula girl of all the things to choose from within the Hawaiian culture? Would love to see a "Shaka" cover some day.

    3) Golf Ball testing: How much of an impact do the amateurs play when making the final decisions on the ProV1 and ProV1x? How many feedbacks do you go through and have you ever followed up with an amateur that mentioned something that caught your eye?

    4) Vokey: When fitting players and being in the industry for so long, who was your favorite player to work with and why?

Thank you all for your time. Keep up the great work! #TeamTitleist

Will there be any new additions to the current lines of irons? Also, along the same topic, I'd like to cover the question if there will be any new line of irons in addition to what we currently see in Titleist?

If there are any new line or addition to the current line of irons, please fill us in on the type of irons- whether it be geared for advanced player or a forgiving set.

I was fortunate enough to receive a sleeve of test balls. How does Titleist incorporate the feedback from TT members into their golf ball R&D process?

And for Scotty, I really miss the old carbon steel putters. IMO nothing provides better feel. Are there any plans to bring them back, even if only for a special release?

    Abby,

I have a few questions for the crew!

    1) I am curious what actually happens to the playing characteristics of wedges when the lofts are bent from standard/stock to a desired number. In other words, what is the best way to get a 53* and 57*...should I use the higher lofted standard and take a degree off or the lower loft and add one degree)? How does all of that affect the bounce grind?

    2) I'm curious as to Bob and Aaron's experience with fitting wedge shafts...As a decent player (scratch) but someone who doesn't practice enough, what suggestions could they offer for flex in a 3 wedge set? Same flex as irons, some weaker progression, all a much weaker flex, heavier but more flex, etc.?

    3) Why has the stock shaft offering remained the same for so long when there are new wedge-specific shafts out there? Are those truly "better" for the masses or just marketing?

    4) What is holding Mr. Cameron back from incorporating a non-traditional insert or face milling on his putters? Does he stand by the traditional design's effectiveness (or rather not seeing truly improved results from those type of faces/inserts) or is it just the style/look/feel he wants?
  10. I found what looks to be an older ball wit the Acushnet name and club special on it. I was wondering the year of the ball?
  11. Bob Vokey-Should all the wedges in your bag have the same bounce or should the bounce vary based on the shots you play w any given wedge?

Scotty Cameron-Would you consider having your team build custom putters for the general public through your Custom Shop; the ability to choose head, neck, shaft type, grip? Basically give the public access to unattainable designs.

Along with Dave N's question I heard that you should always line the pro v1 or v1x guide line in the direction you are going to hit the ball. As this is the "Seam" and gives you the most distance/consistency. Is this a true? Thank you!
  13. Hey liebs,
One of my only questions for BV is just wanting to know why raw vokeys arent offered at stock availibility and pricing?

    Hi Abby,
    Great opportunity.
    Question for Scotty Cameron:
I find that a good part of putter selection for me is based on the look. I need to love the way the putter sets down and frames a ball. It has to "fit" my eye as well as deliver results. This is not always easy to accomplish!
What do you find is the best approach for fitting a person for a putter for both aesthetics and high performance?

    Thank you,
    Rich
