After playing golf for many years and having a love for the game of golf that could be described as an obsession, the golf gods shined upon me. It was almost a whimsical glimpse into my life that it happened in my 30th year of playing the game on April Fools Day. There is no feeling like the 'hole in one' that hit onto an island green just left of the pin and spins the few feet into the hole seconds after your opponent declares his right to press the bet.
