the best feeling

My first hole in one. I've been golfing regularly now for the past 6 years since moving to California from Maine.

I worked my handicap down to as low as 3.7. So my first hole in one was at a beautiful course outside San Diego called Maderas. I was playing in a tournament with my golf club. There were 24 of us that day playing. That day I wasn't playing especially well but we got to 15th hole a down hill par 3 playing 188 yards.

First guy gets up and before he hit his ball he jokingly stated "I think im going to get my 4th hole in one here." He hit a decent shot. I told the next guy to go but he said "You first, you beat me on the last hole, and besides I want to watch your shot and learn from you." I replied you probably wont learn much from me.

I grab my 7 iron, make clean contact. My iron shots typically play a slight draw. The ball is tracking lands about 15 feet from the pin bounces twice and rolled in for my first hole in one.. me and the guys I was playing with went crazy. High fives and hollering. It was a great feeling. The bar tab at the end was well worth it.

Thanks
