The Premier Fitting Partner has a greater selection of shafts and clubheads and will use a launch monitor. Most of them do outdoor fittings.

Think matching shafts is a good idea as is wedge specific shafts giving more spin, better trajectories etc.

I heard that Tiger (not sure if true or not) went stiffer & soft stepped his wedges to provide more spin and flatter trajectory. I decided to…

It comes down to a personal choice. If you tend to "sweep" the ball, the fairway wood might be the better choice. If you're a "digger" the hybrid might be best.

I always wear golf shoes for both reasons you mention. You should always practice like you play and don't won't to wear out your everyday shoes grinding on the range.
