    Johnny,

    Weight is the main difference and the heavier shaft will play stiffer. Cutting 1" off the tip with make a big different in the stiffness, where cutting it off the butt end will make a much smaller difference.

    Chris,

    The difference is not the flex point, it's the tip stiffness. The RVS is a softer tipped shaft and will produce erratic ball flight for certain players. The Kaili is a medium flex tip shaft. 

    I suggest you switch to the Kaili for the Aldila…

    The shafts are tipped 1/2'. I believe the adapter adds and inch.

    Never heard of the putting cups, but I wish it was easy to find some white, or even black wooden Titleist tee's!
