It certainly was on both counts, however, it's a relic and should be left as such. The 910 driver is the best driver made to date and you should be checkin out specs on this one.
If my guess is right, I recently compared the new and current Pro-V1x balls. I like the new ball a lot, but at my level of expertise, the difference is very slight.
Overall, I think I prefer the current pro v1x to the test ball. I did like the flatter trajectory that I seemed to have with the test ball. However, the feedback I get with the current pro v1 x and pro v1 is superior to the test ball.
