• Second career Ace

Played golf for 50 years before my first hole-in-one in September, 2020. Fourteen months later I get my second hole-in-one during an unseasonably warm December in Ohio.

  • RE: Staff Pro to Champions Tour Pro: Rob Labritz Earns His Champions Tour Card

Congrats to Rob. Played at GlenArbor 35 years ago back when it was called Lakeover Golf and CC. A good layout that needed some TLC. Even had a beautiful Sanford White designed clubhouse with staterooms upstairs. That's all gone now as they brought in…

  • RE: TSi touch up

    Chaps,
I feel for you.... I can't stand having my clubs dirty, never mind chipped!!
There is a site I've come across called: -

    gpaint.co.uk

that advertises that it has matches for Titleist golf club paint.
I've not tried it nor contacted them…
  • RE: TS3 fairway Cartridge Jammed.

Ian, try placing the head in a bowl of boiling water. The head will expand quicker than the cartridge so it should slide out easily.
  • My first hole in one

Tracy Golf and Country Club. 6th hole, 153 yards over water into the wind. 8 iron (recently fitted t200s!) rolled in like a putt. Got to watch it disappear! Screamed like a little girl! So did my long time playing partner!

  • RE: Stand bag leg broke

I got to attest that the 2 PVC pipe suggestion works. I use Gator Feet, so I need to remove those before slipping on the PVC pipes. I use a Sun Mountain Meridian which is like a hybrid hard and soft case.
  • First Hole In One

16th Hole at Mustang Golf Club in Naples Florida. 153 yards over water and sand guarding the front of the green. Slight breeze in the face. A few bounces and rolled in. Took me 59 years. Hopefully one of many.

  • Boca Royale Englewood FL Hole in One

I scored my first ace on hole 16 over the water to a back pin. My bright yellow Tour Soft ball rolled up the green and disappeared. I was sure it went over the back, but there it was sitting in the bottom of the cup!
