Handicap, age, and height will have little relationship to the shaft you need. Height could be an indication on the lie angle of the irons. Shaft would be more about swing speed and impact angle. Your best bet is always to get some sort of fitting. The…

Can’t speak for the new ones but I have 2021s and after 100+ rounds, lots of club chatter and bouncing around in my trunk, mine have held up really well.

Some scratches here and there, but nothing major that wouldn’t be on any other backing plate.

YES!!! Pro V1X for me shot to shot, round to round, season to season... the consistency of the ball is what matters most to me. When I hit my 8 iron I know it will carry 140-145 every time. I know how it pitches, chips and putts every time.
