The Titleist flags are flying high upon entry into the driveway.  Past champions are displayed on signs surrounding the driveway as competitors enter the gates.  An impressive list to say the least!

Here's a test right off the first tee...a 446 yard Par 4 into the valley.

Here are three very impressive competitors who have a great chance at winning this week.

If the narrow tee shots, drop off fairways, thick rough and small greens weren't enough...the greens are expected to become progressively faster throughout the week.  10.9 on the Stimpmeter early into the practice round on Monday morning.

A look from the players point of view.  Positioning is crucial with this tee shot. Trees quickly come into play on the right while fescue and more trees blocking the green come into play on the left.

Fast forward to the very flat 537 yard Par 5 #5.

Hopefully competitors are happy with the outcome on #1 as there is a very challenging 200+ yard Par 3 up next.  Missing the green left sees the ball roll down into the valley.  Favoring the right side can pay off if you have enough club to make the green…
