I look forward to the day when we can travel freely once again so I could visit some of those wonderful courses across our grand country !

I have heard nothing but good things about this course. It always gets good reviews. Scenery is spectacular and the course itself is terrific.

    Dan T,
Between one of the holes that is a VERY LONG WALK. Can you provide some information on that?

    Yes!

Between 12/13 it is at least a 600 yard walk. Beautiful walk along the Clyburn Brook

I'm glad you had and can relate your great experience at this facility, I'm sure it's as beautiful as you described.

My issue with you introducing this thread is that it totally goes against all my experiences with courses that Golf North have taken over, whether to own or manage.

Unlike your experience where you say, "Golf North are doing one awesome job!" is again, totally the opposite in that they buy the facility, strip it of all the green fee staff and facility staff to the point where it's staffed "bare-bones" and then proceeds to invite you into a marketing program that exalts the previous management's efforts and reaps the monetary rewards for a couple of years and while they reap in these benefit, they invest NOTHING back into the facility.

I am familiar with several courses which are now managed or owned by Golf North either as a member and as a Professional and I can not believe the degradation that I have witnessed within the first two years of their taking over the facilities and further to several years afterwards where, okay, I'll say it.... the courses are Cow Pastures and the General Managers have no answers for as to why and are simply glorified Day Cash employees.

    Just sayin'

Yes... I have heard that as well... I was talking to someone (grins manager) at my club on Highlands... Apparently when Golf North took it initially over it was a dump... they had received several bad reviews and no one wanted to go... she told me that... similar to what you have said.

I played it 13 years ago and it was terrible... I played it this year and it was beautiful... I have heard nightmare stories on this outfit.... however when I played the course it was absolutely incredible
