Corey Conners wins at the Valero Texas Open punching his ticket to the Masters !!! The winningest ball on tour (ProV1) notches another win for a Canadian... He has been playing well lately. Who knows - another green jacket for a Canadian ??

  2. So exciting to see him win and end up at the masters!! Canadian Golfers are definitely holding their own on tour and looking great!

He obviously likes the TPC San Antonio course. Two sets of boots.

Great win by Corey, but he was already in the Masters, where he plays really well with top 10 finishes T8 & T6 last two times it was played. Think the only player to win the Valero and Masters in the same year was Arnold Palmer and he did it twice, but not back to back events.

We should have to call it the "Texas Open". I am not too found of how these tournaments loose their history by changing title sponsors. I get it, why they have to do it to keep the money flowing but Arnie never won a tournament named after a gas company. :) It is not even at the same course, only the same city (San Antonio). I guess I am a bit bias growing up in Fort Worth and working the Colonial CC tournament, one of the longest running events at the same golf course. Any way, good on Corey and wishing him a long and fruitful career.

I was really happy for him! Hope he does well at the masters. I'm still rooting for Rory to get his grand slam though.

I Agree - despite wishing Corey the best of luck I am pulling to Rory - would be great to see him get it done after all the "issues" this year.
