So nice to see Tony Finau pull off the win in Mexico. Another tour player using the left dot in the winners circle... Is it just me, or does Tony look like he could do with longer clubs ? He always seems extremely bent over preparing to hit his shot :)

Another tall player with a similar set up is Kegan Bradley. He too has been pretty successful with a very bent over, hands low, swing. Whatever works, use it. I remember the days when I could quickly see a swing from far away on tv and tell you who it was. Not so easy anymore as so many of the new generation golfers have a textbook swing. It still is about the golf score, not the golf swing or players like Adam Scott would be dominating the tour. Another example being Jon Rahm. He's smart enough to own his unique swing and not try to change it. I for one like seeing these unique swings because then I can be delusional enough to think there is hope for my gosh-ugly swing. :)

Tony has long athletic arms. Like the new breed of baseball pitcher, hence hand/club head speed.
Pretty sure his clubs are standard and well fit. Wouldn't it be great if we had a tour van at each tee time lol.

But it works for him as he is a competent striker of the ball

    Don't fix what isn't broke

Dale - I too used to be able to identify a player based on the swing without even getting a profile of the face. I think we can all still pick out the buttery swing of Fred Couples or the figure 8 swing of Jim Furyk :) Derekb hit the nail on the head - Don't fix what isn't broken !
