That was an amazing finish to the 2023 Canadian Open ! The awesome birdie putt on the 18th to reach 17 under and the clubhouse lead by Nick Taylor was amazing. The birdie putts by both Taylor and Tommy Fleetwood on the first playoff hole kept us sitting on the edge of our seats. For a while I thought we were going to see another Weir vs Singh finish like we did back in 2004. Like many others, I was stunned, surprised, and elated when Nick Taylor drained his 72 foot eagle putt on the 4th playoff hole for the win. Absolutely amazing. A 1% chance of making that putt and Nick makes history ! Team Titleist and RBC should be proud to have Nick Taylor on the team. The first Canadian to win the Canadian Open since 1954 :)

  2. Everyone was so excited Nick was able to pull off the win for Canada! Couldn't be happier!!

So awesome. I actually watched the replay Monday night on TSN too.
Hadwin getting tackled in the celebration was entertaining too.

So happy for you guys up there! Can't believe it took this long but maybe this opens the door for more Canadians to win your national championship. It is good for Canada and good for golf. Maybe Adam wins next year, if the Security guards let him back on the course.

So Awesome. I actually watched the replay on TSN Monday as well.
Hadwin at the end was too funny as well.

It was a great win for Nick, Canada and Titleist (maybe Titleist can convince Nick to change his other clubs with a full ride sponsorship). It's a shame that Adam's takedown receives move views than the putt. All I could think about is how screwed up Mike Weir's back got just from a bear hug from a fan, glad he is alright.
