I am looking to upgrade my 915D2 9.5 degree with a new shaft. I live in the middle of nowhere and don't have any fitters close by that have a variety of custom shafts to try. I am currently playing a Diamana white D+80 stiff and hit it pretty well, however I feel like I am leaving some distance and accuracy out there. I was fit for this shaft but he only had stock shafts to try. I would like to hit the ball a little higher without gaining too much spin. My local course can order shafts from Titleist but doesn't have any custom shafts to try or a fitter to build shafts or a launch monitor to get on. I know that I'm not giving a lot of info, and the proper response is go get fitted, but any input would be appreciated. Last time I was on a monitor my swing speed was around 105 and a 7 hdc. In looking at the charts and doing some online research I thought possibly the Graphite Designs Tour BB7 might be a good fit. I also hit the new 917D2 with a Diamana White 70 stiff 9.5 degree and was getting spin numbers in the 2900 to 3200 range. Also when ordering a custom shaft from Titleist do they spine the shafts or is that something only a custom club builder does. Thanks for the help!
