My family gave me AP2's with S300 shafts for this Father's Day (off the rack and a complete surprise).  My current set was I3's  bought in 2000 and were fitted to me.  Playing a lot more golf recently so I want to ensure this new set matches my needs.  I just took the plastic off the clubs tonight.  Haven't hit them yet so should I go to a range to get used to them and then get fitted or go straight to an Advance Fitter?  Can these clubs be adjusted right at the Advanced Fitter?

I'd say try them out first and see what happens. You may need a lie and loft adjustment and that can be done with an advanced fitter. What were your PING specs?

If you think you might need a different shaft, we would recommend that you get fit first.  If  the only changes you might need would be loft or lie, go ahead and hit them as RC says.    If you need the recommendation of a fitter in your area, please give us a call at Team Titleist and we can help locate one for you.  1-888-TITLEIST

Get the lies/lofts checked and bent back to spec as you will most likely need to do. This applies to any off the shelf clubs as well as so called custom ordered clubs. I have yet to find any OEM club company where a whole set came within stated specs. Sorry Titliest........this even applies to your equipment.
