Help with Flex

    I want to change to the new titleist MB irons. My Swing Speed averages 110-114. My swing tempo is pretty slow though, I just want to know with my numbers what flex shaft I should play. I am playing the KBS Tour x-stiff and I want to order the new MB with project x shafts but someone told me because of my slow tempo I should play a project x 6.0 instead of 6.5. WIth my swing speed but slow tempo, should I just stay with 6.5? I carry my 7ron avg 175-180. Thanks,

    If you are truly interested in the Project X shaft, I would suggest that you go get fitted for them before you spend the money on these shafts. But just by seeing what you wrote I would suggest that you look into the 6.5 shafts.

    I play the MB's with Project X 6.0 and absolutely love them.  I started with the X-100's but they just werent working.  Like you I have a smooth tempo and transition and I feel the PX 6.0 just fit my swing better and made the clubs more enjoyable for me.  Tighter dispersion and love the flight.  But I would still suggest you hit the club with the shaft before you make the change.

    Its all on feel for you, but i got pjx flighted 6.5 and it was the worst decision i ever made, i hit them too low and they're tough on the hands and arms. In my opinion go for x-100 s-400 of kbs tour X flex
