  1. I'm sure a lot of us have signed up for the ball trial. Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on what line we signed up for? I think it's close to a possible new Pro V1/X release. Do the NXT get released at the same time usually or are they on opposite year cycle?

Did not recieve any news regarding regarding balls, mught be USA only?
  3. I signed up, but I'm a 22 H.C. who plays their new Tour Soft, so I doubt they'll have me testing ProV1's but who knows...

I got an email from Titleist the other day asking me to sign up but I just assumed it was a generic email. It would be awesome to actually test a new Titleist product.

I am not sure, but I think you definitely need to check the box approving of getting emails from TT to get this offer

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Beyond this I have no idea how they que the list.

When you sign up and the balls are sent to you, they are simply test balls. Unmarked, as to the type. You will be asked for an evaluation of the balls and please give them feedback. It is very important. It does not matter whether they are a Velocity or a Prov1. We are an important part of their testing program as are the pros. Remember we are Team Titleist. For those who get the test balls, enjoy them and embrace the fact that you have been chosen to be a part of the testing program. Cheers, Chuck.................

I signed up again this year. I have not had the pleasure of taking part in the testing as of yet. Hopefully this is the year.

I signed up but not checking my mail box every day for the sleeve of golf balls. I do my best to give as much feedback as possible. I do exactly as they request. Test the ball off the tee, chipping and putting and take notes so I can give accurate feedback. But I was not selected the last time for testing.

It's kind of like "Jury Duty". If your busy you will get a sleeve in the mail. If you want to be a tester, you may never get picked. :)

I registered again this year. I was lucky enough to be selected a few years ago. Got 2 sleeves, I think one had triangles on them and 1 had squares. I took them out and gave them a workout! Was fun to participate in testing.

It is always a great surprise when the test balls arrive in the mailbox. I had the pleasure of doing some ball testing at The Cradle at Pinehurst this past spring and that was a great time.

Signed up again this year. Hope to be picked as I haven't had a chance to test out balls in quite some time.
  17. I signed up too. Played PRO V1 for years. Really like the new AVX. Can’t wait to see what Titleist has next.
  18. Indeed, just like jury duty.

Be patient- the greater number of testers from the amateur ranks get in the final round for the next release, around October. The trend is to match users with a similar ball to what is on their profile. They will be marked TEST so you can only give feedback on how it worked for you. Sample labeled balls are often included as part of a ball fitting by local reps if you are looking for freebies.
  20. I think it's awesome that they do public trials at all. Not many companies seem to. Just nice they give back to their loyal customers.

I'm sure one day you'll get picked
