Charles, a  standard AP2 PW is 46* and the next wedge is their W is 50* which  would be their gap wedge......

Bending your Pitching Wedge to a Gap wedge loft will add quite a bit of bounce to the club (every degree you weaken the loft adds 1 degree of bounce). This added bunce will likely cause some playability issues

It would likely be better to purchase an AP2 gap wedge or a SM5 wedge with the loft you are looking for

I would not recommend bending a club more than 2 degrees.  You would definitely be better off buying a gap wedge.

2 degrees is about all you want to bend so as not to affect the bounce too much. I personally play 714 AP2's.

my PW is bent to 48 I then use a 54 SW and a 58 LW. this allows an additional longer club in my set. I practice a lot my half and three quarter shots with 9 iron down so the gap isn't a problem for me.
