Durability of Project X shafts

  1. Hi

I have a concern about project x shaft combination in my Titleist 712CB. The club was purchased in 2012, the shaft snapped at the hostel in 2015, which Titlist repaired free of charge just outside the warranty period. The shaft snapped again at the hostel on Sunday (5-June-2016). This is super weird. I enjoy the characteristics of the PX shaft - kick-point, spin, trajectory, distance. I hit my 2-iron about 245 through the air consistently. I believe I have the correct shaft flex - my 6-iron club head-speed is around 97mph so not enough to overpower the shaft. My blade irons have the project X 6.5 shafts, and I have experienced zero shaft failures in 4 years (I compress the ball with a very late release). Any idea what is causing the shafts to snap specifically in my 2-iron (99% of the time used for tee shots)? I lost the head (712CB) on Sunday, which flew out of sign when it departed from shaft (amazingly the ball went about 260 yards). However, being a loyal Titleist golfer, I’m considering purchasing the Titleist t-MB 2-iron. But I am nervous about requesting the project x 6.5 shaft. I’m considering specifying the stock Dynamic Gold AMT X100, I’ve never had any problems with Dynamic gold shafts. Thanks for your evaluation and any advice you may offer.
