If I were to order a new driver with -1.5" shaft length, will the swing weight and stiffness change, or will Titleist "adjust" it to the specified swing weight?

That's a pretty big cut from standard length. I assume you were fitted for that or you tried one out and trying to replicate it. If not, I strongly suggest it. Minor trimming can be accommodated but I don't know if going 1 1/2" shorter would change the characteristics of the shaft. Either way, if you are ordering from Titleist they offer at -1 1/2" and can usually get you the swing weight you ask for.

Thanks for the input! I haven't really decided what length I want but seems many tour players play shorter, and my current D910 is already 45.0 standard and the new clubs seems to be 45.5 standard, so if I want to try something shorter than my current i would need to order at least an inch shorter than current, I may try that, possible 1.5 is a bit much. The
reason is I always struggle with accuracy with the driver so wanted to try and see if a shorter one would improve things.

You should always specify EXACTLY what you want when ordering. If you want it D2, then specify that. Otherwise, there is no guarantee what you're gonna get.

    Yes.

They will advise you if they can’t. But do specify the desired swing weight as part of the specs.
