Do you use the Pitching and Gap Wedges within your set, or do you go with Vokey's for those 2 clubs? I prefer the ones in the set, then go with Vokey's for my 54 and 58 deg. Wedges.

I too use my T300 pitching and gap, then go Vokey 54 & 58. Besides great clubs, its really a fundamental core value of Titleist to provide customers a custom tailored option for their specific needs. Lots of TT bags will stop at 9 iron and have as many as 4 Vokey's in the bag. No right or wrong answer, just important to have what works for each of us. Enjoy your FL winter golf and happy holidays.

I use the 48 degree that comes with my T300 irons and then have a SM9 52.08F and 56.10S wedges. The 56.10S Vokey wedge is such a great versatile wedge. When we do events with the Titleist rep and wedges are included as swag, he recommends the 56 for those who are not sure about what they want. He convinced me to changed from a 58.12D. Has worked real well in our bunkers.

I only use my T100 PW and use Vokey 50/54/58 degree wedges.

With my T300's, I have the P and W (48 degree). I had the luxury to get 3 wedges, so I have 50F, 54S, and 58. I am leaning to using the 50 for feel shots and the 48 for 3/4-full shots. I leave out the 48 on occasion, I can use the P for most of those shots.

Using t100s PW, Sm6 50f, 56m bent to 55 and 60L. I need to update my wedges soon though.

Had the T300 48 and 53 and wasn't generating enough good spin and creativity around the green. Swapped the heads for an F grind 48 and S grind 54. (kept the set AV (2) Blue graphite shafts) and have much better spin a creativity.

    I have the T100 PW (46*) and have Vokey 50*, 54* & 60*.
  11. I have 44deg T100s PW, then 50 and 56 vokey’s. Works well for me.

With my T100's I went with 5-9 iron and Vokey Wedges 46.10 F grind, 50.12 F grind, 54.14 F grind, 62.14 K grind. It was mostly because of feel and loving the Vokey wedges on full shots and touch shots around the green. Don't think you can go wrong either way.

I have done it both ways. when I had my 716 Ap1's I used the PW (43*) AW (47*) GW (52*) from the set & only had a 56* Vokey.

My current set T200's I use my PW (43*) AW (48*) from the set & have a 52, 56, 60, degree Vokeys in the bag.

Truthfully, I kind of like my current set up better because of the sole, leading edge & grooves on the Vokeys for better spin on half shots & around the green.

I play the set PW (620 MB) and Vokey 50°, 56°, and 60°. I have debated going with a 46° Vokey as well, but it doesn’t make sense to switch.

PW 46. Lofts of Vokeys 49-56-64. I can take out the PW for a Sunday bag. I've been using a K grind LW for sand almost 5 years now; it actually does well in hard sand. I've played a 58-14K or 60-14K 2* strong. At one time I used a Vokey 46 (bent to 44) in place of 9 and P.
  20. I think most people would benefit from using the PW and GW that goes with their set. They seem better suited for full shots and they will be more consistent with yardages being they are the same as the other irons. I currently use a Vokey 50* as my gap just because when I bought my 718 TMBs the GW was no longer available.

    I'm using my T100 PW but SM9 in 50 56 60.

TXG had an interesting video about choosing set wedges vs specialty wedges: www.youtube.com/watch

Give it a watch - good info with data
