  1. Low handicapper - Have been playing 712mb P-6 712cb 5-4 with x100ti for, well… many years. Want some feedback from people who have made the switch from a mb/cb combo set into a full T100 set or some variation combo?

In my head I’d like to go with a Vokey 46, 9-8 620cb, 7-6 T100, 5-4 T150. Obviously best to get fit and see what’s going to work. But just looking for some commentary from people who have made similar changes.

Yea, guessing at blended sets isn’t a good idea.

Not using a set PW is a reasonable choice with your next set.

The clubs are just tools. At some point, the next iron may not perform as you want. Then the option to move down a series comes into play. If the 620 CB 6 iron and 7 iron fit the same window as your 8 iron with no gap issues for distance, then no need to move to a T150. That, in itself may create a distance issue. What you would use after irons is wide open with 7W and driving irons offering alternatives to 3W, 5W, an a 3 iron.

Just wondering why you would move away from the cb/mb setup to a t100 t150 style set up.

Alex, I went from 716MB (4-P) to U505 3/4, T100 5/6, 716MB 7-9, Vokey 46/52/58. I'm about 2 months in from going full T100 5-9. I don't think you'll give anything up in the short irons with T100, and I'm not sure the MBs feel better than T100. T100 is really great. If I could pick on T100, I would say the high face miss is maybe more punishing with T100 than 716 MB. Maybe just a bit more mass higher in the MB.

I think you would save about $25 a club going CB/MB if that's a factor. Personally, I don't think you'll find a lot of difference. It's amazing how close the 3 sets are.

I'm probably a bit slower than you are. I went S300 per my fitter at Titleist. I doubt you would need the T150 in the 4/5. Don't sleep on T200 Utility or U505 in the longs. Very straight, high, baby draws/fades. I went U505 3/4. All my hybrids are in storage.

I'd say distance and distance control is equal between my 716MB and T100. No noticeable differences in height/flighting.

Enjoy whatever you get! You'll love 'em!
