    Saw several announcements that (at least) the drivers are now reduced $150 US. Great deal on a great product. This will definitely make the decision to wait for the next release a lot harder. Just to tease, maybe the next release will be so good they need to run down the inventory now because no one will want the R after the release!!

    The most exciting part of this might mean that the new drivers will likely not have a significant price increase if they have lowered the TSR's. Last time they did not reduce the TSi's and only increased the price of the TSR's upon release. Finger's crossed, just a retired guy without a salary burning his 401K.

    I always buy on performance and NOT price...just my two cents. If you want to have the greatest amount of FUN while playing golf always go with what performs the best not what costs the least.

    For instance when I went to the TS Driver a couple generations ago my distance went up 18 yards farther! When I went to the TSR from the TSI my dispersion was reduced by 25%!

    Purchase what works bests...you wont regret it in the long run...true it may cost a little more but isnt your enjoyment on the golf course worth it?

    Maybe Titleist will do something along the lines of the 10K technology that png and TM now have. Others are sure to have this and Titleist is sure to not be left behind.

    There won’t be a rush in the TS(x) 3-4models. Maybe in the TS(x) 1 model. 2?? The technology doesn’t improve ball speed so adding forgiveness for those using the entire face will benefit.

    I always felt you afford what you choose to afford. Like Chris, am very selective in my purchases. I want my money's worth and cheaper is not always the factor. Learner that from my grandfather many years ago.

    For the last 3 sets of woods, I have always just ordered online through a wholesaler. I am getting fit this year like I did with my irons, no reason not to (other than laziness).

    I just got fit for TSr 1 driver recently paid full price I am very happy with it the driver I had was a Calley
    XR so it has been awhile. For me I think the new driver would not help me so much as the TSr 1 does so I
    am good with the gains I am getting 67yr.s young and still trying to bomb it :-).....

    Just had a fitting but choose to wait on getting the 7 wood, as already spent to much !! Now regretting the decision.

    I’ve been playing a TM SIM MAXD driver and three wood since they were introduced 5 (?) years ago. Recently fitted for the TSR1 driver and 3 wood. VERY happy with the results, hitting more fairways and added distance! Also went to the TSR hybrids and love them also

    Just got fitted for TSR3 8° form an off the shelf Cobra LTDx at 10° so fitting was a big factor in my decision to buy now as I was unaware of the discounted price. Driver was the only club I was not fitted for in the bag so I couldn't wait till Sep or later when Titleist comes out with their new clubs. If I have a little stash burning a hole in my pocket by my birthday (also in Sep) I may just go get fitted again and see if new one makes a difference with my game. But till then ill enjoy my extra 5 to 8 yards on and a more dependable flight pattern.

    Well I just today, after an irons/driver fitting, ordered a TSR2. A lot bigger difference than my current TSi2 than I expected, and $150 off certainly helps!

    I have the TSR1 20 and 23 fairways (20.75 & 23.75) and 26H (28). 65g Tensei R on the 7 wood, Diamana 70S on the 9 wood and 6H. Reused existing shafts and set up the weighting accordingly (D2 swingweight). The 40 gram stock shafts were a bit whippy. The ones I have on the clubs currently are -1/2" and I play the fairways at D3 surefit with +2g headweights. The hybrid has a Std headweight. I bought them from the demo bin. Found the 9 wood in the ladies' bin and outfitted it with a Diamana 72 x5ct S at 40.5" (it is slightly soft-stepped). I re-used the shaft from my 816H1 27 for the 26H. The Tensei shaft was originally on a TSR2 21 fairway. I was alternating between a Diamana 72 x5ct S and the Tensei (which hit better in both cases). Pretty pleased with the way they hit. The TSR1 7 wood gets the same distance as a TS2 18 fairway (set at A3).

    Well my timing was perfect, was able to get the discount on a TSr2 Driver and 3 Wood. Left Handed and went to a fitting and man it paid off for sure
