Have completely worn out my Sm8's and looking to go to either 9 or 10. wondering if there is any big difference between the two

At this time, primarily about $40 a club to buy off the rack. To get fit to be sure of distance gapping and grind selection, and to order a shaft not the stock shaft, that would be an option only in the SM10. SM9 lofts and grinds may be getting limited being over a year since the SM10 was released.

There is difference in flight characteristics if you spend a great deal of time practicing your short game.

New clubs look pretty. The best players may feel the difference, mere mortals like us (even the better players), will see little difference, if any.
