Bad ordering experience

    I got fit for irons in July by Titleist at the Country Club I belong to. Settled on a combo set 250/350 irons with areotech steelfiber shafts.. The fitter said he could put it through right from our range and I would have the clubs in 9 days! Perfect I would have for our club championship. The order went through and showed a ship date of 7/30.. my friend ordered his at the same time during the same fitting event, same shafts. Well here is where things took a turn. The date switched from 7/30 to end of September very quickly.. shaft were back ordered so I get it. So I called several times, trying to get an update..5 calls 5 DIFFERENT answers..really? So finally I was told the shafts would be on 8/11 and would be inspected, built and shipped overnight for last week.. well that didn’t happen either, the date again went further out. So I told my pro to cancel the order. Unfortunately I feel like never got a straight answer from Titleist once, they just kept me on the hook as they constantly moved the date further out. I have bought 4 straight sets from being fit by Titleist and am now looking elsewhere! Sad thing is they are so big I don’t think the cared on bit when I called them. Just an honest guys real experience. Not sure if this will even get posted.
