Currently have the 716 MB’s in the bag, using the PW (47°) as my theoretical “gap” wedge. I’m comfortable with 52° being next in the gapping but have been debating on whether or not to bend my current 56 to 57 or to bend a 58 to 57 (bounce dependent) to maintain even gapping.

What is the most efficient way to not sacrifice any forgiveness or distance loss on certain shots?

    Any tips/advice appreciated!

Your question is to increase bounce or decrease bounce moving from 56 or 58 to 57 degrees. That’s more important for sand/lob wedge than distance control on full shots. Your turf or bunker conditions will vary from someone elsewhere in the country. With a set PW at 47 degrees, your best investment would be a quality outdoor fitting to dial in grind as well as loft for your short pitches and bunker shots. As well as select a shaft for your best feel. For partial swing use, it is common to use a heavier shaft.
