  1. After never swinging a Titelist club in my life, I got a brand new set of Titleists (910 D2, AP2s, 3 Vokeys and a Scotty) a couple of months ago through the Scottish fitting centre and am delighted with them!  Total convert and regular Team Titleist checker now!

One small complaint has been with the finish on my driver.  The finish is all fading away round the face (pic below) after only a couple of months use (1 round a week).  I've been obsessively cleaning all my bats after each round in mildly warm water, but still don't think this should be happening.  Club is still great, but a bit disappointed with this.  Has anyone else experienced anything similar?  Going to take it to my pro who I bought the clubs through and see if anything can be done, but would appreciate advice from the Team Titleist regulars!  Thanks.

I have a 910 D2 as well, for about 2 months and I play at least 5 days a week between rounds and range sessions and the finish is still intact. The only thing I have are white tracks along the bottom of the head from tees, but the actual finish itself is still pretty flawless. Looking at your pic, it looks as if you're actually hitting down on the ball and possibly striking the ground or taking a divot after hitting the ball as opposed to just sweeping up on the ball? Hence the blemishes on the bottom leading edge of your driver head? If so, then the ground will take a toll on the finish i'm sure, regardless of what driver you're using.
  3. I can honestly say I haven't ever taken a divot with this driver! Been hitting it really well, helping me especially into the wind. Thought it must've been due to the cleaning, and if so, a bit disappointed.

What type of brush do you use when you clean your driver?  Perhaps that is hurting the finish?  I have had my 910 since last fall and the finish is still perfect.

David - I have the same issue with my driver. And it's wierd how it's only the driver (910D3). I have the 910 3Wood & 19* Hybrid and they are in pretty good condition. I DO NOT go to the range. Range balls can wreak havoc on the clubs. Anyways, I'm not happy at all. Very surprised with the lack of quality just with the driver. The woods, AP1's, & vokey's are perfect!
