My buddy bought the wintergrip and there was little difference in the texture.

The new StaSof for winter is a great glove. I also have the WinterSof gloves, which are also good, but the StaSof feels more like wearing a golf glove in my opinion. Frankly, I have not noticed any negatives with either. If I had to choose, and money was no object, I would go StaSof Winter, purely for the better feel. If you play in temps below 40 degrees as I do when I have no choice, a pair of Titleist or FJ Cart Mitts isn't a bad idea for between shots.

Thanks for the opinions, the StaSof winter definitely appeal as they look like they fit more closely to a standard leather glove.

Both look warm and grippy but my main requirement is for the glove to be as close fitting and similar in profile to my Titleist Players Flex glove.

I have some Titleist mitts which are great for in between holes and on the tee so hopefully these will do the job in between.

those new ones have really gotten my interest. if anyone tries them out let me know how they are
