Is it just me or are Foot Joy Polos rather big? I tried on a Medium today and the neck area is pretty wide, on top of that my girl friend said it looked too big on me. I normally wear a medium in shirts. I held a small size Foot Joy up to an Under Armour Medium for comparison and they were basically the same size. Are other brands just using a more athletic cut while FJ has stuck to a standard cut? I will say I am a fan of the bigger collar the FJ's appear to have.

I wear an XL in Under Armour, swoosh, Bald Head Blues or jonnie-O. Every FJ item I own is a Large. It all seems to run bigger.

Exception might be the newer FJ shirts labeled as "athletic fit". Those seem to be slimmer, much closer to the UA shirts.

Definitely runs bigger. I wear an XXL in Footjoy and a 3XL or 2XLT in practically anything else.

FJ shirts do run larger. I typically wear a medium in most brands, but wear either a small or athletic fit medium in FJ shirts.
  6. You are like me most likely and enjoy a more form fitting shirt to show off the pipes! Look for the Footjoy polos that day Athletic Fit and get a medium...you’ll thank me later. Fit like a dream! They say athletic fit on the tag and typically in the description

All non athletic Footjoy shirts are bigger than their competition. I have always liked the fit.

I only own the 'athletic fit' shirts; all of them run true to size

I am unable to find any Foot Joy apparel that fit me. A small is still too big and no extra small is offered in shirts. Pants are impossible in the waist and length. I realize that segment of the market probably does not make it work for Titleist. The quality of Titleist apparel is excellent.

You might try the Small in the Athletic fit shirts. True FJ does not make an XS shirt and this shirt might meet your need. They currently have three styles in that line that might appeal to you. Have you tried the five pocket pants. They are a jean fitting pant coming in a variety of colors and the smallest waist is 30" with a 30" inseam. Unfortunately, sometimes some brands just do not fit. There are a lot of brands that do not make sizes for us big guys. Over 38 in slacks or shorts and that is true of FJ in some of their colors in certain styles.

FJ regular shirts do run a tad larger than most other brands. They are a full cut shirt and I personally love them. I like a looser fitting shirt when I play golf, nothing binding, and they are exactly what I need. I wear an XL in FJ and XXL in my Ralph Lauren golf shirts. I shorts I wear FJ, of course, Vineyard Vines, Tailorbyrd and Polo. Brands that are appealing and fit are all important to me as well.

Simple answer is yes, FJ shirts run bigger than most others, which is part of the story as to why I don't wear any other brand. The others are not long enough for me to be worn tucked in and not have to retuck the shirt after every swing.

I'd have to wear at least a 3XL in others and they still aren't long enough. My son has come around too, he was a UA kid (still kind of is), but now prefers I buy him FJ shirts. He wears a medium in FJ, large in UA at the age of 12.

They are slighly bigger than most other brands, XL is spot on size for me and the quality is second to none.
I love them and you can’t have enough of them haha ️‍♂️

Bought a size down, and after wearing it and playing in it the fit is amazing. Looks like ill be adding some more FJ polos to the closet.

Great! Glad they are working out for you. Always nice to combine our Titleist stuff with shoes and/or apparel for the sister company, keeping it all in the family. Hit'm straight and stay safe.
