  1. I have been playing golf 1-2 months now and I struggle to hit my irons far, and sometimes I struggle with contact. I use the titleist 704 cb FORGED. I played with a guy today and he said they are really hard clubs for beginners but right now I really don’t feel like buying new clubs. Any golf tips to improve my irons and get my golf game to a whole new level?

Please go see a PGA Teaching Pro and take a lesson or two. They can teach you proper fundamentals early.

Honestly focus on ball impact drills. Just like putting the most important part of any golf swing is between your feet or a 3 foot zone. If you can putt, chip, pitch you just need to build consistency on the range with irons. Build a preshot routine that forces you to swing through an impact spot and keep the club on target. To many new golfers just swing. Which is fine but if you want to get better watch some good golfers. They all have a routine of picking a spot in front of the ball and aligning themselves to the target.

Good luck out there! Its a challenging sport but extremely rewarding as you continue to learn and hit great shots.
  4. The goal should be to hit your irons with consistent and clean contact to establish a specific distance you want each iron to travel. Simplify what you really want each club in the bag to do for you and you can focus on flushing a shot instead of crushing it.
